A Few of my favorite things

I’m the Director of Catering & Events at Sherwood Country Club, where I’ve been lucky enough to work since 2008. Over the years, I’ve seen the Club grow through many stages, and I couldn’t be happier with where we are today. I’ve also had the privilege of helping design and shape several of our renovated spaces, which has been such a rewarding part of seeing Sherwood become the luxury venue we always envisioned.

What I love most about my role is the creative side—designing events that are thoughtful, beautiful, and memorable. Lately, I’ve been taking on more of our member events, which has given me even more opportunities to bring fresh, exciting experiences to life for our community.

Outside of work, there are a few things I can’t live without: wine (sorry, it’s true 🍷), a good TV show (love me some Bravo), and, yes, an endless supply of Kleenex (I’ll admit I have a little tissue OCD). I married my husband, Scott, in 2018, and together we have two beautifully wild girls who keep us on our toes when we’re not working.

I look forward to many more years of creating events and sharing memorable moments with our members and guests!

My love for planning and hosting began early, I was always the one organizing get-togethers for family and friends, finding joy in the small details that made each gathering memorable. Though I first pursued a career in healthcare, I soon realized that the same desire to make a difference in people’s lives could also be found in events. Sherwood has given me the opportunity to channel that passion into creating experiences that are not only fun and beautiful, but also deeply meaningful and rewarding.

I’m grateful every day that I get to do work I love. Organization and design are my happy place, and nothing excites me more than bringing a client’s vision to life. Most of all, I cherish being part of life’s biggest celebrations and making sure they run seamlessly so everyone else just gets to enjoy. Call me crazy, but my favorite days are the 12+ hour event days!

If I’m not working an event, I’m probably off camping, hiking, or adventuring with my husband and our black lab. I'm a big fan of Mexican or Thai food, believe in all things ghostly, and I think October is the best month, arguably because it contains the two best holidays: my birthday and Halloween. The irony? I can’t stand horror movies. And yes, I’m a Scorpio… but don’t worry, I’ve been told I don’t act like one!

Before I found my way into the world of weddings, I spent much of my childhood and teen years pursuing classical ballet. My dream was to join a New York–based company, and I trained at summer intensives across the country. But as high school came to a close, I realized my heart was pulling me toward a different stage; one behind the scenes.

That’s when I discovered the hospitality and events industry. I started out in the corporate event world, where I had the chance to watch planners and vendors work with precision. Those experiences gave me the foundation to develop systems and processes that make events seamless for my own clients.

After meeting my husband in Las Vegas and beginning our international love story, I discovered what truly lights me up: being part of each couple’s journey. For nearly two decades, with fifteen years dedicated specifically to weddings and events, I’ve had the honor of guiding couples through one of the most meaningful days of their lives. My approach is always the same, streamlined, thoughtful and deeply personal, so couples can focus less on stress and more on joy.
